1. Beetroot Lip Balm with Ghee
Ingredients: Beetroot juice, ghee, and water.

Method: Wash and peel a fresh beetroot. Now cut small pieces of beetroot and extract the juice from the juicer. (If there is no juicer. Grate it, filter it with a sieve, and extract its juice.) Now put 1 teaspoon of ghee and 2 teaspoons of beetroot juice in a glass bowl. Mix it well. Take boiled hot water in a vessel.
Place that glass bowl in this vessel and mix again all the ingredients well. When the mixture becomes completely liquid, fill it in a small plastic container. Keep it in the freezer for 15-30 minutes. when it becomes tough, then you can use it. Use it every time you want. We have not used any chemicals in this recipe, it is 100% natural.
Note: You can also use Vaseline or coconut oil in place of ghee to make Beetroot lip balm.
2. Beetroot Lip Balm with Shea Butter
Ingredients: Coconut oil, beetroot juice, shea butter, sweet almond oil and essential oil (such as lavender or peppermint) for fragrance.

Method: In a double boiler or a heatproof bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water, melt one tablespoon of coconut oil, one teaspoon of shea butter, and one teaspoon of sweet almond oil together. Once melted, add the one-two teaspoon of beetroot juice to the mixture and stir well. Add a few drops of essential oil for fragrance. Stir well to combine. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Carefully pour the mixture into lip balm containers. Keep it in the freezer and allow the lip balm to cool completely before using. Once the lip balm has solidified, it is ready to use. Apply it to your lips whenever you will feel dry or chapped.
