1. Betel Leaf and Yogurt Face Pack

Ingredients: 3-4 fresh betel leaves (washed and cleaned), 1 tablespoon of yoghurt,1 tablespoon of honey and one pinch of turmeric powder.

Method: Take the fresh betel leaves and wash them thoroughly to remove any dirt or impurities. Crush the betel leaves using a mortar and pestle or blend them in a mixer to form a smooth paste. Add yoghurt, turmeric powder, and honey to the betel leaf paste. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until you have a consistent paste. Cleanse your face to remove any dirt. Apply the betel leaf paste evenly to your face and neck. Leave it for about 15-20 minutes. Once the pack has dried gently rinse it off with lukewarm water.  2. Betel Leaf and Papaya Face Pack

Ingredients: 2-3 Cubes of ripe papaya and a few fresh betel leaves.

3. Betel Leaf and Aloe Vera Face Pack

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel, 1-2 fresh betel leaves and one vitamin E capsule.

Method: Mix the fresh aloe vera and vitamin E capsule with crushed betel leaves to make a hydrating face pack. Apply the pack to your face and neck. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes before washing it off.

4. Betel Leaf and Sandalwood Face Pack

Ingredients: Few betel leaves, 1 teaspoon sandalwood powder and 1 teaspoon Multani mitti powder.

Method: Make a paste by mixing crushed betel leaves with sandalwood powder and multani mitti powder and a little rose water. Apply the pack on your face and leave it till it dries, then wash it off with water.

5. Betel Leaf and Gram Flour Face Pack

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon Gram Flour, 1-2 teaspoon rose water and 1 - 2 betel leaves 

Method: Combine crushed betel leaves with gram flour and rose water to create a face pack. Apply the pack to your face and gently massage it in circular motions. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and rinse off with water.


Some Additional Tips and Variations on Using Betel Leaves for Skin:-

1. Betel Leaf Steam Facial

Method: Boil a handful of betel leaves in a pot of water until the water starts to steam. Remove the pot from the heat source. Place your face above the pot and cover your head with a towel to trap the steam. Allow the steam to penetrate your skin for 5-10 minutes. The steam can help open up pores, cleanse the skin, and improve circulation.

 2. Homemade Betel Leaf Toner

Method: Boil a few betel leaves in water for 5-10 minutes. Let the water cool down and strain it to remove the leaves. Transfer the infused water into a clean spray bottle and use it as a toner after cleansing your face. This toner can help balance the skin's pH, tighten pores, and provide mild antibacterial benefits.

3.  Betel Leaf Ice Cubes

Method: Make a betel leaf infusion by steeping crushed leaves in hot water for 10 minutes. Pour the infusion into ice cube trays and freeze it.
